What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Post Protected Intercourse?

I have a question My Girlfriend has had brown vaginal discharge for 2 days is this normal ? She is ovulating right now but there is now way she is pregnant I ve never came inside her even when I do have condom on I pull out and she said she has had an ovarian cyst before

Furthermore, if only withdrawal method is used, chances of failure are more. However, since you use double protection, safety is enhanced.
