General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Brown discharge is generally due to passage of secretions mixed with old or retained blood. However, it would be advisable for you to undertake a trans-vaginal ultrasound scan to ensure that the pregnancy is progressing fine.

Kindly consult an obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope the information provided helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

All the best.

Regards,
