It Rarely it ever come 2 months in a row. Now I am 32 going on 33 in june and I am trying to conceive. I ve been trying for 7 months and nothing. Going for hsg test on Thursday. What does this mean? I ve never been pregnant but my boyfriend has had 2 children already. I feel like I m the cause of the failure. What are all the possibilities that I can t have babies. Hello,

You are trying to conceive but are not being able to. You are having irregular periods with brown spotting. Irregular periods with brown spotting is commonly due to hormonal imbalances, anemia or poor general health condition, birth control pills or shots, or an underlying health condition.

After a year of using the birth control shot, up to half of women report they no longer have periods. If period doesn’t stop entirely, you may experience a much lighter and shorter or irregular periods. You are suggested to stop taking all kinds of contraceptive pills or shots. Take home made food rich in iron and protein. You can take supplements.

Taking uterine tonics will help get normal periods. You may have to take it for 3-4 months. Take care of your general health. In case of any underlying health condition like PID, PCOS, fibroids, hormonal imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, etc. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get tests done and treated at the earliest.

You should continue to try to conceive, but stay relaxed and stress free. Staying stress free will help you conceive faster. You can consult a gynae in case after trying for 2 yrs you fail to get pregnant. You will then have to take infertility treatment (both partners) to assess the present status. Stay away from addiction, smoking, drugs, alcohol, etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
