What Causes Brown Discharge With Mucus?

SIR, ME & MY HUSBAND WERE TTC PAST 1YR, AND THIS MONTH I MISSED MY PERIOD FOR 17 DAYS AND ON 15TH DAY I HAD SOME BLEEDING AND NOT IN NEXT DAY, BUT TODAY I HAVE BROWN DISCHARGE WITH SMALL AMOUNT OF MUCUS, CAN YOU PLS HELP ME, I AM 23YRS, MARRIED WEIGHT IS 69 AND MY HEIGHT IS 5.6

Hi,

Usually urine pregnancy test is recommended if you do not get your periods, even one week after the expected date.

As now your periods are delayed by 17 days, now the possible causes for spotting and brown discharge are:

-Pregnancy with possible threatened abortion
-Hormonal imbalance leading to delayed periods with premenstrual spotting
-Local causes like cervical erosion, polyps etc.

Now, you please consult your Gynecologist once, get examined and go for a urine pregnancy test and ultrasound.

With this work-up the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly.
