What Causes Brown Bleeding After Periods?

Hi, Im using birth control pills for about 1 year or more. I was in my break and I got my period in my break time.I start my pill again but I see some brown bleeding! I m not sure what is it about! I even didnt have sex aroud last 3 months! Can you tell me why is it happen ?
