What Causes Broken Blood Vessel In Eyes After Using Contact Lenses?

I recently tried on a new pair of contact lenses and at the end of the day saw that I had a broken blood vessel in my left eye. I had not worn contact lenses fro about 3 months prior to this. What could be the cause of this and should I seek medical help? Is there an over-the-counter eye drop that will help?

Hello
Broken blood vessel following use of contact lenses is because of minor injury to the conjunctival vessel while wearing contact lenses.
This may not require treatment and only thing required may be observation as this will get resolved without treatment.

Thank you
