What Causes Breathlessness With Body Pain And Discomfort?
When I was a kid I had plurasy (sp). Forever after I have always had a hard time breathing when there are weather changes and some other times, but it often goes away after about 5 minutes of having to work on catching my breath. The biggest symptom is that I can't seem to get a full breath that "satisfies". For about 2 months now I have it every day. Almost always at night before I go to bed. It seems to be getting worse. Having a harder time catching it, the breath doesn't satisfy as long even when it does catch, etc. Now today I've had it all day and I am getting a headache and I am getting a sharp pain in my shoulder blades and the top of my chest. Any idea what this could be? Or how to fix it?
Now air hunger present with dyspnea... You should be first examined by doctor esp.auscultation....
Then chest x ray and pulmonary function test done... It might reveal bronchitis or asthma... Possibility of chronic obstructive disease also has to be ruled out... So pulmonary function test useful for differentiating restrictive and obstructive disease...
Causative treatment done... Antiinflammatory drugs or bronchodilator needed according to cause....
If respiratory cause not present then by excess stress sometime such air hunger can occur....
Take care Hope your concern solved.
