What Causes Breathlessness And Pain In The Back Of A Teenager?

Hey there, a few days ago my 16 yr old daughter began having pain on the mid to lower right side of her back and complained of shortness of breath, she used her inhaler and said it seemed to ease the back pain as well as it helped her breathing. Over the next 2 days she had the same complaints but again she said the inhaler(abuteral) helped. Tonight however she was in tears with back pain. I gave her some cystex thinking something with her kidneys but someone said it might be appendicitis?? Because she had some brief pain in her right abdomin earlier as well. Should I take her to the er immediately or will it be ok to let her rest and take her in to see her Dr in the morn?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the muscular pain due to shortness of breath or breathlessness then it could get alright with bronchodilator (Inhaler) and this is going on for long time then it needs to be found out for other causes too, and better to get done the imaging study hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
