I m 18, been diagnosed with ASD and Fibromyalgia and bouts of IBS. I ve been having difficulty breathing for a while, a rib on my left side pops and it always feels as if something is restricting my breathing. Just now I m experiencing severe muscle spasms on my left set thats spasming into my stomach, it doesnt hurt but my ribs pop when I move and it feels as if there s something underneath it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The presence of fibromyalgia gives multiple body site pains with varying intensity to great extent.

In my clinic, I recommend
- regular NSAID as ibuprofen or others
- lifestyle modifications to control weight, blood sugar, cholesterol
- deep breathing exercises
- avoid stress, anxiety
- a regular sound sleep of 7 hours
- avoid smoking if involved

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
