What Causes Breathing Difficulty, Cough And Swelling In Right Leg And Foot?
Hello I am a 35 yrs old female I have been having some problems with my heart I don t know if it skips a beat or adds one but when I get the weird feeling I loose breath and have to cough I also have swelling in my right leg and foot, what could it be and should I scheduled an appointment with a cardio

Understanding your concern. As per your query you havebreathing difficulty, cough and swelling in right leg and foot . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like acid reflux , heart failure , panic disorder , snoring , respiratory infections ( bacterial or viral ) , sleep apnea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like throat swab test , viral culture test , chest X-ray and blood test . Doctor may put you on anti allergic drugs , stronger antibiotics , or antiviral drugs . Doctor may refer you to chest specialist or gastroenterologist if he/she find problem to be related to chest infection or acid reflux respectively . For now avoid eating spicy and heavy meal specially at night , do warm saline gargles and ake bendryl twice a day . Swelling in leg and foot can also occur due to many reasons like kidney failure so consult nephrologist also .
