Hi,

It can be from gastric acid reflux from stomach on exertion due to contraction of muscles of the diaphragm. It can be also from problems in chest or heart.

Give him medications for acidities like Lansoprazole or Omeprazole. If the symptoms continue then get her checked by a physician for the possibility of heart or any chest disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
