What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Heavy Chest?

hi, for the past few months, it has been difficult to breathe, my chest feels really heavy and i find myself gasping for air a lot of the times. and recently, little pimple-like spots appeared on my hands, are the 2 symptoms linked? if so, what is the cause? and if not, what are the causes?

I can understand your concern.
Breathing difficulty with heaviness in chest since few months is mostly due to either Pulmonary (bronchitis) or cardiac (heart failure) causes.
Bronchitis is mostly due to viral infection. You are also having skin lesions on hands. Viral infection can cause skin lesions. So we need to first rule out bronchitis in your case.
So get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
If PFT is normal, get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out heart failure.
So your chest symptoms and hand lesions can be due to viral bronchitis. But we need to rule out cardiac diseases as well.
So consult doctor and discuss all these. First diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
