What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Dizziness?

I have a sensation that my heart is beating in my throat and difficulty breathing, slight dizziness. This has happened on several occasions and so far, I have been able to slow my breathing and take deep slow breaths and it passes. What concerns in is that I had a heart attack, broken heart syndrome last March and have been taking medication ever since. Should I call my cardiologist?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to your provided history you are telling that you had heart attack problem in past....
So you are known case of myocardial infarction

Hence it seems to be your cardiac problem that leading dizziness and difficult breathing

Your investigation needed with EKG and 2D echocardiography for rule out cardiac problem

If left ventricular failure is there then by pulmonary congestion it can lead dyspnea and from less tissue oxygen dizziness can be there

Hope your concern solved

Consult cardiologist or nearby physician for examination and Auscultation and accordingly get investigated with echocardiography

Take care
