What Causes Breast Discomfort After A Radiotherapy?
How many weeks after radiotherapy can you still get that 'hot' feeling in the breast that was treated. I feel very well, finished rads in later November 2016, it is now February 19th 2017.... is that normal to still get a hot breast and it looks a little flushed.
Skin irritation and breast discomfort can happen after radiotherapy. The symptoms begin within a few weeks of starting treatment and go away on their own within 6 months after treatment ends.
If symptoms are severe you can take mild analgesics like Ibuprofen or Naproxen for symptomatic relief.
