What Causes Bone Bruising On The Palm And Wrist After A Fall?

hi, my wife fell last night when we were out and now there are two bones (one on each hand)popped out between her palm and wrist (maybe the lunate), there is no real pain but they are quite bruised. Will they got back to normal or does something have to be done?

Hello,

I suggest to do an X ray for a better opinion! if you have lunatum dislocation it needs surgery. After surgery, the person will likely be required to wear a cast or brace on the wrist to help keep the wrist protected and immobilized. Once the cast or brace is removed and the pins are taken out, physical therapy is often required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
