Hi, my husband just had 2 back teeth extracted (one got more complicated- both roots broke off). . . we are home, but he got extremely cold with shivers and has gone to bed--sleeping now. He says he s okay. ..? should i be worried? he is breathing...

Hi,

This is due to spread of infection from traumatic extraction.

Another possibility is fall in blood glucose sugar and pressure.

It is a matter of concern. Send me further information if he has any other disease like diabetes, pressure.

Send his blood pressure recording and pulse as well. If you can't send, please report to the emergency room immediately to monitor his vitals. He may need an antibiotic injection and other necessary drug therapeutic measures.
