What Causes Body Ache Along With Chills And Fatigue?

Hi, on Friday went to City MD with flu symptoms of body aches, chills, sweats, no energy. Ear ache pressure and ringing in ear. No fever or cough. Doctor gave me Tamiflu and said I have an ear infection and gave me cifdinir. I do not feel any better at all. No change. Should either have started working...could it be something else? Thank you

Hello,

This symptom is suggestive of acute upper respiratory tract infection or sinusitis like condition. Your workup was done as follow.
-Otoscopy ear examination
-Complete blood count (CBC)
-PNS x-ray
-Absolute eosinophil count (ASO) titer
According to reports and examination further, workup planned. A decongestant like levocetirizine can prescribe. Tamiflu prescribed for severe flu condition. If gastritis associated, then pantoprazole prescribe. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination and discuss your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
