What Causes Blurred Vision While Suffering From Chronic Pancreatitis?

yes please it is about my daughter Dawn she was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis 3 yrs ago and she goes for pain infusions once a week. now she is having blurred vision almost daily. She does wear glasses or contacts She recently started these symptoms and got scared so she was taken to the emergency room and was told that she has a sinus infection, she did have a catscan but she has had these before and this time she really only had a headache and blurred vision. Could this be a sinus infection or something more serious?

Hi,

Chronic pancreatitis is as such serious and it can cause jaundice and effect beta cells of lang re hans. Blood sugar is to be examined. It is not a sinus problem and can only be related to pancreatitis. You can take ultrasound of liver gall bladder, and go for liver function test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
