What Causes Blurred Vision, Dizziness And Drowsiness?

hi. I get these symptoms 2 weeks ago. Blurry vision. lightheaded, almost like a vertigo, but not spinning. I am feeling drowsy, and i feel i am loosing my balance. i also have a fear that i will fall down. I have my blood work done and CAT scan done and it is normal.... I am under a lots of stress and i just started to take Lexapro and Lorazepam prescribed by NP. i can t function, i cant drive and i cant go to work. Can you give me some advice

Hello,

- Lorazepam is probably why you have the drowsiness. Its common just after you start it
- The dizziness and blurred vision is more complicated. Is your blood pressure normal? Does the dizziness come when you change your head suddenly
- For the next few days, when getting up out of bed, try to sit by the side of your bed first and then stand up. Sit down immediately when you feel these symptoms come on to make sure you don't fall. If it is a side effect of Lexapro, it may normalize soon.
