What Causes Blurred Vision And Tingling Sensation In The Arm?

If a person has a headache, blurred vision and tingling in right arm for a short period of time what should be his concerns. He thinks it is Migraine Headache, but the tingling in arm does not make sense to me as far as a migraine symtom? He has been to an eye doctor who said there was nothing wrong with his vision.

Hello,

It is good to know that the Eye reports by an Eye Specialist are normal. Blurry vision can also be due to hypertension as it damages retina. keep blood pressure under control. Diabetes millitus & migraine can cause blurry vision. You are suggested to get treated for DM if diabetic. To avoid migraine you can take Amitryptyline, avoid stress, exposure to sunlight, take small meals 3-4 times a day, cut on oily spicy food, avoid acid reflux (take antacids, PPI's). Take food that is easily digestible. Stay well hydrated & take adequate rest. For tingling sensation in the arm, get Nerve conduction tests done, get clinically examined by a Neurologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
