What Causes Blurred Vision And Numbness In The Right Arm?

I was playing senior softball this morning and had a bit of blurry vision. It s happened before. It seems like if I have a sports drink and a candy bar it goes away. This morning I felt a bit of numbness in my right hand/arm during a game. It was around 80 degrees out. No weakness or confusion. I continued playing. No other problems. I m a 74 year old male. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Blurred vision while particular activity can be attributed to sunlight sensitivity, low blood sugar or BP.

The same should be evaluated with physical parameters immediately as soon as the incidence happens.

The numbness in the arm may be from overexertion, B12 deficiency or so forth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
