Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am seeking answers for my husband. He has a rash on his legs and arms and also he is passing blood in his stool. He doesn t know if the two symptoms are related or what could be causing each. He has been to three different doctors and hasn t gotten any definite answers.
Welcome at HCM I appreciate your health concerns What is the age of your husband? For how long he is suffering from it? Any other associated problem like diabetes or hypertension? Any history of fever? Where is rash mostly lying over body? Is it over the chest? Based upon the history you gave provided it is difficult yo diagnose. He need proper examination and investigations. Possible differentials are enteric fever , haemorrhouds, dysentery etc If I am your attending physician I will get his FBC with ESR, stool analysis, after then I will be able to proceed further. Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Hope it helps Regards
