What Causes Blood In Vaginal Discharge After Taking I-pill?

Hello I had unprotected sex on 9th September with my husband on the 5th day of my periods.then next day after 30hrs later I took Ipill.my periods usually comes one week early every month,so my next periods suppose to come on 29th September.And After 2 weeks of Ipill I saw few traces of blood for 1 or 2 days.Now I m very tensed that am I pregnant??.Plzzz help me doctor.today is 29th sept and still my periods not started

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
i pill is an emergency contraceptive pill.
What you have done is right by taking the pill next day by 30 hours, as it needs to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected intercourse, to be protected from becoming pregnant.
The pill should cause withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake. Accordingly, your periods may get re-scheduled by certain amount of days. Some of them could experience spotting or discharge before actual bleeding takes place.
In case you do not get periods by 3 weeks, you need to take a urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention with the report promptly.
Such mode of contraception has a failure rate of 10 to 15%.
