What Causes Blood In Urine?
What would cause blood in urine of 28 yr old female? She just had a cyst removed from her ovary last month. She went to dr yesterday and her blood was so thick that they had to stick her over and over before they could draw blood. The blood they finally got was very thick & black looking. She has to wait 2 1/2 weeks to go back for results. Very concerned.

Blood in the urine can be due to different possible causes, the most common causes are---(1) infection - a urine analysis would determine if this is the case
(2)bleeding disorder- a complete blood count would help
(3)side effect of medication
(4)trauma to the urinary tract
(5)presence of a stone or mass in the urinary tract
