What Causes Blood In Urine And Semen After Intercourse?

About 4 years ago, I started noticing blood in my urine after sex and sometimes in my semen, Went to a Urologist and everything was fine, even had a camera put down my penis for observation. Still nothing. So over the last 4 years it sometimes does this and sometimes it doesn t, I have no pain, no bruising, no marks or swelling. It even does it sometimes if I masturbate, sometimes in the urine sometimes just the semen. What should I do?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Presence of blood in urine and semen after intercourse or masturbation could be due to following causes:
1. Lesions in the urinary bladder.
2. Recurrent urinary tract infection.
3. Infection of testis called orchitis.
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of uro-genital system and scrotum done to know if there are any reasons related to above conditions that could be found out. Also get a semen and urine culture and sensitivity done to not is there any infection persisting in urinary tract or testis.
Kindly consult urologist with the report for appropriate management.
