What Causes Blood In Urine After Periods?

Hello I had unprotected sex from 5/23 through 5/27 and that was around the time of my fertile week window. My boyfriend and usually use the pull out method. On 6/9 I felt regular menstrual cramps followed by blood. I think it was my period but I m not sure. I did exercise one day to the point where I was in so much pain. I took 2 pregnancy test by clear blue, one on Monday but I was drinking a lot of water that day but it came up negative. Then the next day I took another test using first morning pee and there was blood while I urinated and it came up negative again. Please Help

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

The blood in urine can be related to a urinary infection or can happen due to leaking out of some leftover blood after the periods. This should decrease on its own after some time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal,
