What Causes Blood In Stool?

I am 22yrs old girl and I went to the toilet and noticed blood on the toilet paper. when i looked into the bowl my stool was furry and the water was red. I am definitly not on my period. I had a simular problem when I was 16yrs on and it went on for a couple of months. I went to the doc and they couldnt figure out what it was. Please help if you know what it could be and advise me?

Dear may be your suffering from Constipation which may cause hard stools lead to anal mucosal injury and bleeding.

Other possibilities like hemorrhods and fissure in ano. Eat high fibre diet, regular exercise and eat green leafy vegetables. Use syrp.lactulose 30ml at night .If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
