Thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic.com. I have gone through your case and I can understand your concern. This is
rectal bleeding due to hemorrhoids (piles). A hemorrhoid is a
varicose vein of the
rectum. Hemorrhoids may be present for years but go undetected until bleeding occurs. They may cause rectal pain, itching, or a sensation that you have not emptied completely after a bowel movement. Hemorrhoids are often found after painless rectal bleeding with a bowel movement. In such cases I recommend to my patients:
A. Spend less time sitting on the toilet to reduce pressure in the veins around the anus.
B. Pat with toilet paper instead of rubbing.
C. Take sitz baths or soak in a warm bathtub three or four times a day for comfort.
D. Apply
cold packs or witch hazel (Tucks) compresses for symptom relief.
E. Take a
stool softener two to three times a day to prevent straining with bowel movements.
F. A hemorrhoid treatment such as ligation, freezing, or surgery may need to be done for severe cases.
G. Bowel function improves with good physical activity.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions. Wishing you good health.
