What Causes Blood In Sputum During Pregnancy?

Hi I am taking flucloxacillin 500mg because I had a spot on my arm that had red lines coming off it. I am pregnant with twins almost 22 weeks. This morning when I woke up I coughed up mucus and blood no more than a tea spoon of blood is this ok? Thank you.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion cough causes throat injury leading to blood in sputum.So nothing to worry.If flem is yellowish or greenish along with fever you might need antibiotics.Otherwise take cough syrup for symptomatic relief.Relax.
