What Causes Blood In Semen?

HI ALL, Two months back i had blood in my semen. after three weeks it was the same and i did semen culture test which reveal presence of staphyloccocus presence. It has been mentioned that it is sensitive to amoxyclav, cephotamin, erythromicin and gentamycin. What you doctors suggest me to do. I am too much worried about if the bacteria can harm my other organs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Can you provide me with your age? Although you have done a semen culture test, it seems it is orchitis, epididymitis or prostatic. Have you any such fever associated with it? According to your culture test, it is advised to have Tab Amoxyclav along with some probiotics. Tab Pantop is advised. Contact me for further follow-up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
