What Causes Blood In Mucus While Having Severe Cold And Sore Throat?
It started 2 months back I had cold and sore throat with chest pain went to general physician he told it is just cold after 2 weeks symtom reappeared this time I noticed a drop of blood in mucus and severe throat pain then I went to ENT he told mild throat congestion and gave medicine for acid reflex and some allergy after that everything was fine ,two weeks before I had severe acidity and again my throat became sore and again in morning I noticed drop of blood in mucus they I took some medicine for acidity and after 2 3 days everythink was normal.last night I had beer in morning while cleaning throat again i notice a drop of blood and again having pain in throat...I am afraid that I am having throat cancer please help what should I do next.

Your clinical history suggests that most likely you are having chronic tonsillitis with acute exacerbation with sepsis. You are now advised to consult your ENT doctor for examination and necessary investigations so that confirmed diagnosis may be made and treatment may be planned out. Till you are waiting for an appointment with ENT doctor you may take- 1- Tab Paracetamol. 2- Antibiotic (broad spectrum). 3- Warm saline gargling. 4- Adequate fluid orally.
