What Causes Blood Discharge Inside Ear While Suffering From Ear Infection?
Hello. The last two days I ve been cleaning my ears due to psoriasis in my ear and I like to have it clean because I recently got an ear infection from it. Well just a few minutes ago I pulled a q tip out and it had a gooy type thing on it with blood. What s going on
Understanding your concern. Blood discharge inside ear while suffering from ear infection seems to be inflammation and touching of ear drum with q-tip.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear. Put Otogesic ear drops. You should keep your ear dry until it gets alright. You should cover your ear while bathing I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. You should go for audiometer testing as well to check hearing level and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
