Hello and welcome. Heavy periods (menorrhagia) has certain causes to it which need to be diagnosed and treated accordingly and so I would urge you to visit a doctor. Some causes include: -Uterine fibroids -Hormonal imbalances -Side effect of medications -Intrauterine devices -Birth control pills -Pelvic inflammatory disease -Ovarian dysfunction -Polyps -Bleeding abnormalities And a few others.
