What Causes Blocked Ear After Tooth Extraction?

I had a wisdom tooth pulled, no surgery involved, and it was very uneventful. It was almost a week ago and I woke today with a clogged ear, could this be correlated? It feels like a clogged ear when I have had sinus issues, but do not have any currently.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain clogged feeling in ear after wisdom tooth extraction can be due to inflamed muscles over the jaw that are used for mastication
[chewing and other jaw movements] and due to close proximity with ear it can give a clogged feeling in ear..
Other causes can be related to jaw joint like inflammations, dislocation etc..
But in case if is already a week ago when the tooth was extracted the clogging of ear now can be due to blocked eustachian tube, excessive wax buildup, otitis media etc..
Nothing to worry, consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do an otoscopic examination to rule out the cause of clogging and treat accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
