What Causes Bloating During The Sleep?

Hi dr after meal I feel full easily. Noticed sometime in the night I feel bloating. I have good bowel movement in the morning. I have difficulty in maintaining my body weight. Two months ago I did the breathing into a bag to test for h. Pyrory test came out negative .

For how long has this problem been?
There may be many reasons for easy fullness after small meals.that includes depression,peptic ulcer or heart burning.
try taking small meals and more frequently.increase fluid intake and less spicy meals.for bloating sleep on one side instead of lying flat.dont eat at bed time.add small walk in routine.take a omeprazole 20 mg before meal once daily in morning for 2 weeks.
If you keep on losing weight and symptoms doesnot get better with time you must see a docor
stay healthy

The bloating may be due to different possible causes.

The most common causes are: (1) reflux
(2) constipation
(3)food intolerance- eg if certain foods are causing a problem
(4)use of gas producing foods such as broccoli, cabbage, turnips, beans, cauliflower
(5)lactose intolerance
(6)celiac disease
(7)IBS- irritable bowel syndrome

You may want to consider using reflux medication to see if this helps.
If there is no improvement then your doctor can assess for any other possible causes.

Reflux medications includes nexium, priloscec, prevacid, protonix, aciphex
