What Causes Blisters On The Penile Shaft?

I had symptoms of what I thought was for sure hsv 2. Blister type bump on my penile shaft and there was no puss or fluid and now it has crusted over. I got an igg hsv 1&2 test a week after the symptoms and they came back negative could it possibly be staph??

See, first of all, blisters and bumps over penile shaft can be due to many causes. Yes, it can be due to herpes type 2 but there are other causes like syphilis, chancroid, some bacterial infections like staph etc.
Your result of hsv came as negative. So it is ruled out. But the other possibilities still remain.
So I would suggest you to visit a Dermatologist. He/she will examine you and also check for discharge, pain or lymph node swellings. Also some tests can be done and your treatment can be planned.
