I had blisters (2) on my ring finger left hand with one blister on pinky same hand with pain in palm of hand and arm to elbow (left arm). Went to urgent care, given antibiotics with no diagnosis, medicing caused so much pain in my stomach and nausea so I went to a doctor in a medical facility who said it was shingles and gave me a prescription for shingles. It has been 2 weeks, I still have pain in palm and base of fingers although blisters became scabs and eventually fell off although still red. Was it shingle and why do I have so much discomfort in palm and fingers (2) plus numbness at tip of fingers? what is my next step? do i see another doctor and if so tell me who would handle such a problem?
