What Causes Blisters In The Ear?

Hey quick question, a co-worker today/ right now fainted after vomiting, after examination found large blister in the ear. very painful, he said the day before he cut it and blood came out of it. and felt better. cold, weak, fainted, vomiting symptoms we work in a water environment, Hong Kong what could it be?

blister which are painful, are most likely due to herpetic lesion. herpes virus is the cause. which spreads in area supplied by facial nerve. tab valcyclovir is recommended treatment. other are pain killers according to your symptoms. get yourself checked up for immunosuppression, as this virus gets activated in immunosuppressive condition.
