What Causes Blister On Toe Post Euflexxa Injection For Knee Pain?

A couple of months ago I had the Euflexxia shot treatment in both knees for arthritis pain. The injections helped my right knee but the left has really given me a lot of pain. Also, I have a strange red rash on my big toe on the same leg. The rash has blisters then becomes very dried out with scale like skin. It doesn t itch or cause pain, but it difficult to bend my toe. Brief Answer:
Suspected plantar wart.

Detailed Answer:
Warm Welcome. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.

I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

Based on what you said, you are likely having a plantar wart. It is caused by viral infection in skin and has no relation with Euflexxa shot as its action is limited to joint. Plantar warts are not harmful and go away in months to years by themselves but pain is a concern. You should also visit a physician who can take a look at this.

Physician may prescribe you salicylic acid ointment for it. It usually leads to complete resolution of wart. Rarely, if it doesn't go away and cause pain, surgery may be required to remove it.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Keep a follow up to see how you doing.

Regards!
