Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Blister Like Dark Spots In Lower Belly And Groin Areas?
Dear Sir, Blister like dark raised spots on the fair coloured skin (lower belly & groin areas) no itch or bleeding. Skin is very dry requiring moisturing ointment cream (Eucerene type without any additives) all over almost twice daily. Am allergic to cortizone and Penecilin. Thank you.
Blisters may occur due to infections, autoimmune disorders, certain types of eczema or dermatitis.
Infections like Herpes zoster,Genital herpes,Impetigo can be the cause of blisters.Autoimmune disorders like bullous pemphigoid should also be ruled out.
Contact dermatitis and dyshydrotic eczema can cause blister like lesions. You will need to do a complete blood count with blood sugar levels for further management.
Blister filled with blood, multiple blisters all over the body and rapidly growing blister should be viewed seriously and should be clinically examined by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards Dr.Saranya Ramadoss, General and Family Physician
