What Causes Bleeding In The Left Ear While Suffering From Migraine?

my left ear is bleeeding inside been having migraine headaches left bottom teeth are infected and my lymphnode is swollen. been on clyndimycin for 7 days and it seems nothing is working. I m type 2 diabetic and i just started insulin. I just also had a double by pass done in March of this year. I m really worried. What should I do?

Hello!
An earbleeding should be checked regardless your migraine. If you have had or have a flue it maybe simply be a middle ear virus infection through Varizella, Herpes viruses. In this case ist good that the pressure of the middle ear is high and through spontaneous Perforation of your eardrum it Comes out. In this case its a self healing process.
With your diabetic Problem and if you have fever you should try a medication with Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2/d. In this case you prevent a distructing Infection caused by Pseudomonas by diabetics.
In both of the cases you have to do a Tonaudiometry (Hearing test). If your inside ear is attacked you should get cortison as well but in your case by checking your sugar Level.
