What Causes Bleeding In Between Periods?

I am on day 20 of my cycle, I have had a cold and thought I was getting a yeast infection so I purchased the one day monistat and inserted about 48 hours ago. I have had large amounts of non smelly, non clumpy discharge for the last 3 days. This morning I had a slight pinkish color in the discharge when wiping and now it is bright red when wiping. I have NEVER had bleeding in between periods and I have no abdominal pains at all. What could be wrong. Any advise would be great.

Hello,

Spotting you noticed is due to the yeast infection. If discharge, itchiness persists then oral fluconazole should be considered for treatment.

Hope this answers your query
