What Causes Bleeding During Urination Post Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy on this past Friday, everything went well. This morning I wiped myself after urinating and had bright red blood, I checked the toilet and a considerable amount of blood was there also. I am 5 years post hysterectomy (1 ovari in place) everything else removed.

Hello,

I do not think the bleeding is due to colonoscopy.

I think it might be related to the primary cause for the which you've been done hysterectomy.

I think you should get back and check it out with gynecologist.

If the blood came out from the anal part, then, it could be related to hemorrhoids or the primary diagnosis you've been run colonoscopy.

Check this out with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
