What Causes Black Spots On The Tongue After Having Food?

I have just eaten a Chinese ready meal from a well know supermarket and within 30 minutes two black spots appeared on my tounge, one at the tip and one half way up at the edge. The one on the tip was quite raised and sore but has now settled down a bit but both are still there. What could have caused this?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain black spots on Tongue after eating ready meal can be due to causes like Allergic reaction, burning with hot foods or chemical substances, eating very spicy or sour foods etc..

Do not worry as it will be resolved soon ..

As it is sore you can apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine or Choline salicylate over it..
You can also apply Milk of Magnesia over it..
Soda bicarb gargles can also help..
You can do warm saline gargles..
You can suck ice pops and avoid eating hot, spicy and sour foods..
It will probably improve in next 3-4 days..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..
