What Causes Black Colored Stool?

I had polyps removed last year. I am an occasional cocaine user... Since about 10 years now and I have black stool now. Could the polyps have returned. The other day i felt so bad after using. I threw up and haven't had much of an appetite since. What does it all mean? I just got out of the military as well and I don't know if I should make an appointment or go straight to the E.R.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, you have not given the detail about the polyp if this was taken from the GI system then the present symptoms needs to be rule out for this, although chances of this is very minimal because it is almost due to constipation else it is nothing to worry you can see the surgeon just to rule out the doubt hope this information helps.
