What Causes Belching And Sour Taste In Mouth On Intake Of Perindopril?

Perindopri can i take this with food? the info leaflets says before food. but? how long before ? i feel belching and sour tastes and bloating since taking these tablets 10 days ago i take one tablet early morning before food. my appetite is good. but these digestive feeings are new

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of belching and sour taste in mouth on intake of Perindopril which seems to be due to allergic to any ingredient of that medication. You should take it on same time every day and avoid taking 2 doses in a day and you can take it with/without food. I would suggest you to take plenty of fluids along with taking this medication and avoid involvement in any exertion related activities. Visit general physician once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get alternative medication for the same. You should go for walk and don't lay down after immediately having food.
