Hello I have a 3 year old son who has complained of back pain for 6 months now, occasionally will complain of his legs hurting. He always reaches around to his lower back and says it hurts. I took him to the pediatrician where we had an X-ray done, proceeded by an abdominal ultra sound. No one has called to give me results in over a week, so Im assuming they saw nothing (I will be calling tomorrow to get results). The last 2 days I have noticed a 1 inch in diameter rough patch slightly darker than his pale skin on his spine around where he says it hurts. This is a brand new appearance and its very odd that it has just popped up. He has never had anything odd on his skin except he has an under the skin bruise like birthmark on his leg and runs down his foot vien (which has concerned me since birth, but led says its ok). Any input?
