What Causes Appetite Loss While Suffering From Non-invasive Prostate Cancer?

My dad, 81 years old, suddenly stopped eating 8 weeks ago. He has had CAT Scans of head, liver, pancreas, kidney, colon, stomach and has been diagnosed with non-invasive prostrate cancer. He has had a bone scan, gastric emptying test, Octreoscan, edoscopy and comprehensive blood screening. He was diagnosed with peptic ulcers but negative for HPyloria bacteria. His blood test showed elevated bellirubin and glucose . All other scans, test and lab work are negative. He has lost 65 lbs in 8 weeks, is exhausted, weak and very lethargic. He is set to start radiation therapy for the prostate cancer but the only diagnosis we have been given is a suspicion of depression. He has no history of depression, doesn t act depressed and says he is not depress. He says he can t eat beacause he has a full feeling which makes him uncomfortable. He keeps getting dehydrated. Now the doctors want him to see a neurologist and psychiatrist. I need to find some information on why he can t/won t eat. He has never been sick and says he is not depression. I need suggestions on what to do.
