You have been suffering from anxiety both during the day as well as during the night. In my opinion these symptoms suggest Generalised Anxiety Disorder and need proper evaluation. In anxiety medicines like SSRIs are commonly used. Sertraline, Fluoxetine, Paroxetine etc are commonly used medicines for anxiety. Apart from this low dose benzodiazepines can be used in severe anxiety provoking situations like in panic like states.
