What Causes Anxiety And Panic Attack After Discontinuing Lyrica?

I received lyrics sample for pain. When I stopped taking it I suffered panic and anxiety. I also have skin itching and crawling and memory loss and clumsiness. Trying to wean off lyrica now. Any comments or recommendations ? I feel this is a dangerous drug. It did relieve pain however.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi sir/madam,
welcome to health care magic,

I can certainly understand your concern towards your symptoms, definitely there is a possibility that skin itching and memory problems could be due to the side effects of this drug, so I would like to advise you to start on paroxetine for your panic attacks.

being a psychiatrist I can advise you to start on minimal doses initially, and escalate gradually, with in 2 weeks you can find the reduction in the frequency of your attacks, and you can supplement with clonazepam to get rid of your anxiety, and dont worry about the other effects, as they can be recovered with in few days, hope this information would help you

post your further questions if any, iI will always be available to take up follow up questions
thank you
I find this answer helpful
